The Buddy Program is designed for international students in Faro that would like to know someone that can help them living in the city. If this is your case, you came to the right place!

If you are a portuguese student and are keen on helping exchange students, you are also in the right place!

The ESN Algarve Buddy Program wants to help exchange students to establish a social and academic network starting from the first day. We contribute in making the start of the semester a joyful and exciting experience for the ones starting a new journey of their life in our city.

By applying to the ESN Algarve Buddy Program the exchange student will get a chance to meet someone that can help him around the city and to take care of all the matters such as:

  • Finding a house.
  • Giving you a tour around Faro.
  • Introduce you to other international students and the nice places to hang out.
  • Introduce you to all the ESN Algarve activities that will happen during the semester.
  • Since your buddy will be a native you will get the chance to find out about all the particularities of the Portuguese lifestyle.
